BW / BO/ HANA Consultant

 

·               Implement an end to end project in 7.4 SAP BW on HANA. Work with business users to create functional design and specifications. Collect and transport BW Objects from 7.3 BW to 7.4 BW. Perform ETL process to create Data Sources and load Master data and Order Fulfillment transaction data into 7.4 BW on HANA from 7.3 BW on Oracle. Build custom DSOs with transformation and create SAP HANA information views based on DSO and Master data tables for BusinessObjects reporting.

BW Data Architect and Developer

 

·               Lead a project to extract Order and Delivery related data into the BW environment for CRM sales analysis and reporting. Solely responsible for technical design, development and test query reports. Develop and maintain Extraction, Transformation, and Loading of Data from CRM and ERP systems. Enhance SAP standard Extract Structures (2LIS_11_VAHDR, 2LIS_11_VAITM) in ECC system. Create InfoObjects, Data Sources, ABAP routines, DSOs (write optimized and standard), and infocubes. Write new Bex reports and revise existing Bex reports. Create Infopackages, DTP, and Process Chains to perform data load from source systems.

·               Analyze the business requirements to create the technical design document. Use start schema to perform multi-dimensional data modeling. ·               Create ETL, transformation rules, routines, infopackges, DTP (Data transfer process), and Process Chains to load data from R/3 and flat files into DSOs and Infocubes. Write query reports using Bex Report Designer with Variables, Navigational attributes, and Filters for CRM IST reports. Developed InfoSet Queries for a list of IST queries to drill down to other queries.

·               Analyze and activate Business Content in ECC and BW and set up SAP R/3, Flat File and BW as source systems. Reconciliation of data from various sources including external data source. Supporting services from design, development, QA, implementation through production support life cycle.

·               Create a Data warehouse for GPC Transportation Freight System based on BW Standard SD content with enhancements to fulfill the reporting needs as per the customer Requirements Responsible in Redesign, Develop, and Implement new BI (3.5/7.0) reports to replace existing ABAP queries.

·               Document all the BI work and transfer knowledge to coworkers and perform customized user training. Define BI development strategy and standards. Advise on best practices for BI deployments strategy. Clean up setup tables, extract queues, and delta queues before PI_BASIS upgrade   performed in R/3 systems.

 

 

ABAP Application Developer -

 

·               Manage several successful full life cycle projects with teams responsible for the operational, technical and implementation of Sales Order and delivery systems.
